Cleaning up a frustrating procedure with a Secure Store!

The original intent for going to this rather sophisticated store software was to get rid of the frustrating email tag that plagued selling almost anything from NewWoodworker.com but in particular Used Tools. It was frustrating for everyone when one person would email and say “I will buy it” and then not respond to our email for days to complete the sale. Meantime several others would be trying to buy the same thing and in the end nobody was very happy with the process.

Now, I post an item in the NewWoodworker.com Online Store and you can buy it right then and there, including knowing what the shipping will cost! You can also select no shipping to pick Used Tools at the Concord, NC shop if you are local. And in the case of a Used Tool once it is purchased the software will not allow anyone else to buy it, something that happened occasionally with some forum classifieds functions. I get a notice once an item is sold and if need be, I can remove the listing entirely in a minute or so. The process is much cleaner and way less frustrating. Plus, the first person that really wants to buy something can make that happen without the back and forth email! This NewWoodworker.com Online Store itself is on a secure server and also allows us to take more credit cards with the processing done on a secure server and off of my site. I never see or have access to your credit card info – and I like it that way!

The same process applies to buying our NewWoodworker.com How-To DVD’s. You can buy as many as you want in one transaction to get better shipping rates. You can also take advantage of discount codes I will post from time to time as well as special savings codes for members of our email list. I also have special sale items that let you save some cash right away, all of the time!

Our Plans are now fully downloadable in a much easier process. You buy the plan and when the sale is completed the software takes you to a download link where you click and get your plan! Right then and no back and forth email!
