   Easily the most requested plan to date, our Router Table Plan was designed with the average home woodworker in mind. This Router Table is relatively cheap to build and uses the economical Rockler FX lift that fits common 2 1/4hp router motors including the Porter-Cable 690/890 series, Bosch 1617-1618, DeWalt 610, 616 and 618 models. Very accurate bit height adjustments and above-the-table bit changes make this Router Table a pleasure to use.

   The design was kept intentionally simple, using easy techniques, to be sure everyone can build this Router Table and end up with a solid, accurate tool.

    The Router Table features a spacious 33 1/4" wide by 23"-deep table that is a comfortable 40" off the floor. A fully adjustable, very solid shop-built fence and a 3/4"-wide miter channel make this table accurate and versatile.

   It stands on two fixed casters and two solid legs that make it easy to move but exceptionally stable when set in place. Four large bit drawers surround the router lift bay, a large full-width drawer below them has plenty of room for associated tools and jigs. At the bottom is a spacious bay for routers and larger equipment.

   The Router Table Plan includes extensive professionally written step-by-step instructions and 10 pages of detailed drawings. In addition, a special web page with links to the hardware used and another web page full of detailed photos make building the Router Table easier than ever.
