Shop Cabinet / Secretary Plan

#NWW012
Price - $3.95
Difficulty: New Woodworker & Up

At 31"-tall, 25 5/8"-wide and 8"-deep, this Cabinet / Secretary easily fits above most workbenches and adds useful storage space, something no shop has enough of.

The tilt-out writing surface lets you keep instructions, notebooks and other paperwork handy, but out of the way. The tilt-out door covers a large storage bay in which often-used hand tools, clipboards or manuals can be kept out of the way, but easily accessible.

Though designed for the shop, the Cabinet / Secretary can easily be converted for use in the kitchen, pantry or elsewhere in the home by using your favorite wood. No design changes are necessary.

This is a good project for even the new woodworker as basic construction techniques are used. If you are un-familiar with raised panel doors, this is a great time to practice a valuable skill. The Plan Set offers more information on building raised panel doors, and alternatives if you would rather not use them.

After completing payment you will be provided with a link through which to download the plan file to your computer. This link will also be provided in an email to you.
