Wall-Hung Hall Tree - NWW014

Difficulty: New Woodworker & Up

Text, photos and design by Tom Hintz

With dimensions of 25"-wide by 32"-tall and projecting out from the wall a mere 3 ¾" (on hangars) this Wall-Hung Hall Tree retains it usefulness without crowding the entryways of apartments, condominiums or homes.

This Hall Tree has pegs for hats on the upper portions of the Stiles and a row of additional pegs below the shelf on which to hang modern umbrellas or even hats or coats. The versatility of this design means you can install whatever kind of hooks or pegs necessary to best fit your needs. Virtually any kind of wood can be used to match the look to the rest of your furniture.

The oval mirror opening, corbels and arched Top Rail may concern new woodworkers, but complete instructions, dimensions and full-sized templates for the oval cutout and corbels means if you can trace a pattern, you can build this Wall-Hung Hall Tree, and be proud of the results.

The Wall-Hung Hall Tree Plan Set includes professionally written step-by-step instructions and 4 pages of detailed drawings, including the full-scale templates. As always, we include relevant Options and a list of Resources from NewWoodworker.com to help with procedures you may not be familiar with. The plan set costs only $2.95!

Our plans are delivered via email in the popular Adobe PDF format. For more information, including a link to get the free Adobe Acrobat Reader (necessary to view our plan sets) see our Plans FAQ page.
