   Our Downdraft Sanding Box is designed for the small to medium-sized shop and for use with all common dust collectors and shop vacs 2 1/2 HP and larger though it does work with smaller vacs with less efficiency.
   To keep the surface rigid there is a specially designed (but easy to build) support grid that allows free airflow across the bottom of the box.
  To make the Downdraft Sanding Box more versatile we added a set of removeable legs so it can be positioned close to larger projects to help capture some of that dust as well.
   The Downdraft Sanding Box is easy to build from common materials, using common tools. The instruction set includes full professionally written step-by-step instructions and 4 pages of drawings, including a full-scale template for the leg pivot, to make building this project easy.
