Mobile Miter Saw Station Plan

#NWW035
Difficulty: New Woodworker & Up

This has been one of our most asked-for plans. The popularity of miter saws and the lack of space most woodworkers deal with makes a mobile, folding station a great way to gain the capability of these saws while saving space.

Our Mobile Miter Saw Station was intentionally designed using very basic woodworking procedures to make it appropriate for even novice woodworkers. If you can cut dado's and rabbets, you can build this station!

We designed this station around the Bosch 4410 sliding compound miter saw because it is one of the larger units. Fitting a smaller saw on this station is simple but it can be adapted to larger saw almost as easily.

The wings add a huge amount of supported work surface when needed, but fold away for storing the unit in a very small footprint.

Besides the obvious use, we added storage in the cabinet, a commodity all shops never seem to have enough of. The top drawer can be used for catching cutoffs through a hole below the saw (an option described in the plans) or all of the available storage space can be retained.

The Mobile Miter Saw Station plan includes full professionally written step-by-step instructions and 5 pages of detailed drawings to make it easy to complete this project.

The Mobile Miter Saw Station plan costs just $2.95!
