Pantry Cupboard

Difficulty: New Woodworker & Up
Built to provide additional storage to supply the kitchen, the Pantry Cupboard has become the most-used project I have built. Someone goes into it several times every day and it has added the much needed storage many modern kitchens simply do not have.
At 80"-tall, 49"-wide and 24 1/2"-deep, this is a large project but a very simple one to build. It is primarily a large box that uses plain dados for most of the joinery. Though fixed shelves were built into the original, changing to adjustable shelving is actually easier yet.
The basic design of the Pantry Cupboard makes it easy to dress up if you want an "in-the-house" version. Because so many of the parts are the same size, altering the overall size is also much easier than with some kinds of cabinets.
