Designed around the popular JET Mini Lathe, this cart fits most lathes in this class very well. Just in case, the Mini Lathe Cart is easy to modify for height to get the spindle centerline right where you want it.
The three drawers, two narrow for pen and similar supplies and one wider, plus the storage compartment not only keep your turning supplies organized but add storage space to the shop. We also added a row of tool-holding holes next to the lathe for commonly use chisels so they are at hand but don't roll off onto the floor.
The Mini Lathe Cart Plan includes professionally written instructions and four pages of drawn plans to make this project easy. Joinery is limited to dado's, rabbets and basic pocket hole screws though more experienced woodworkers can dress this project up with more complicated joints.
